Private Sector Bonds are generally issued with an additional return (spread) over Government Bonds and Treasury Bills which reflects the additional default risk taken
In Private Sector Bonds, the investor takes additional default risk of the issuer company. These bonds are not subject to guarantee of government or any institution unless otherwise indicated.
Private Sector Bonds may be issued in the way of public offering or as private placements in the OTC markets.These securities can be bought and sold in the secondary market after their issuance under the same conditions as Government Bonds and Treasury Bills through the Investment Accounts of our Bank.
