İşbank crowned the best digital bank in Central and Eastern Europe
İşbank receives the Central and Eastern Europe’s (CEE) Best Digital Bank Award at the Awards for Excellence organized by Euromoney, one of the most prestigious publications in international finance and banking.
During the ceremony held in London, the award was collected by İşbank Deputy Chief Executive Sezgin Lüle. In his statement Sezgin Lüle indicated that digitalization is becoming an increasing part of our daily lives and changing routines, habits and expectations. It affects all areas including the banking sector, and customers are now looking for the easiest and fastest experience that they can reach anytime, anywhere.
Emphasizing that important efforts are being undertaken in the banking sector for a long time.The simplest processes that have been digitized to provide customers with a flawless experience in line with their expectations end-to-end, Lüle said, “In the finance sector, which is quite dynamic in adapting to the rapidly changing conditions and customer demands, we continue to invest in technology and provide our customers with the easiest, fastest and safest experience by digitizing our processes as part of our vision to become the ‘Bank of the Future’. Our approach to invisible banking is to provide our customers with a seamless experience when they need it, at the contact points where they are looking for solutions.”
The number of İşCep users exceeds 10.5 million with a digital transaction ratio over 95%
Sezgin Lüle stated that as of June 2022, the number for İşCep users, the Bank’s mobile banking application, exceeded 10.5 million, and the ratio of digital transactions was over 95%, with 75% of those transactions being completed on the mobile banking channel.
Underlining that İşBank is constantly improving İşCep, which currently has 567 functions to deliver a more personalized banking experience, Lüle said, “Our AI-powered virtual assistant Maxi is equipped with 450 different abilities and has had 53 million conversations with 7 million users as of June 2022. We have automated 596 tasks through robotic process automation to secure about 27 million transactions, 69 million notifications and 29 million queries in 2022. Taking it beyond functioning as a bank wallet enabling all card management services, we developed Maximum Mobil with a perspective that offers an end-to-end digital purchasing experience and also transformed our e-commerce competencies into an inclusive, high-quality and innovative ecosystem with Pazarama.”
