İşbank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development sign a loan agreement worth $54 million

İşbank signed an agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for a loan facility worth $54 million on a maturity of 367 days as part of a financing package created in order to help eliminate the negative economic effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. 

The Bank will use this loan to continue supporting the funding needs of small and medium-sized enterprises hit by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Issuing a statement on the matter, Gamze Yalçın, Deputy CEO at İşbank, said, "We have launched various economic support packages since March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic and as 'Turkey's Bank', we continue to support our customers through these challenging times. This new fund will offer a key contribution to our goal. We are pleased to sustain our long-standing cooperation with the EBRD to benefit our country's economy.”
